The Hel YES has solidified its position as a leading standard for women’s freeriding, clinching four consecutive Good Wood Awards. This snowboard boasts a directional twin layout, UnderBite outline, sintered base, and a bamboo stringer core, all contributing to Helen’s distinctive imprint on the world of women’s snowboarding. Laura Sidoruk, the artistic mind behind this masterpiece, seamlessly weaved her personal vision of the circle of life and death into the design. “I wanted to represent the duality of life and death and the cyclical nature of our environments around us. To illustrate this, I chose wolves and greenery to symbolize life, and wolves with fungi along with pieces of skeleton showing to symbolize death and how everything returns back to the earth. Connecting the two wolves is a root-like thread, bringing us back to the life cycle that is continually occurring all around us no matter what. A small reminder that life is short and to shred extra hard.

Shape: Directional Twin
A directional twin snowboard combines the freestyle versatility of a twin shape with a slight directional emphasis. While featuring a symmetrical shape for switch riding, it incorporates a subtle directional aspect, such as a slightly longer nose or setback stance, enhancing performance in one primary direction. This design maintains a playful feel for freestyle maneuvers while optimizing stability and control, particularly in powder or variable conditions. Ideal for riders who enjoy the park but desire enhanced performance on groomers or in specific terrains, a directional twin provides a versatile compromise between freestyle agility and directional stability.
Profile: CamRock 2-3-2
Camrocker boards have a profile where the center of the board is closer to the snow, and the nose and tail are raised.
Enhances float in powder, makes turn initiation easier, and is generally more forgiving.
May sacrifice some edge hold and stability compared to traditional camber.
Materials
Sintered
YES Snowboards' sintered bases are crafted by fusing tiny polyethylene particles under heat and pressure, creating a porous, durable surface. Known for superior speed and wax absorption, these bases are favored by advanced riders for their high-performance capabilities in various snow conditions.2. Poplar/Paulownia/Bamboo
Poplar/Paulownia/Bamboo
YES Snowboards' Poplar/Paulownia/Bamboo core features Poplar, Paulownia and Bamboo rails. Poplar provides lightweight characteristics and consistent flex, enhancing maneuverability. Paulownia, even lighter, maintains strength with a favorable strength-to-weight ratio. Bamboo adds durability and responsiveness. This blend ensures optimal weight reduction, responsiveness, and performance, making YES Snowboards perfect for various styles and conditions.
BIAX
Biaxial or "Biax" fiberglass consists of fibers running in two directions, typically along the length and width of the board. This construction provides a balanced flex pattern, making the snowboard more forgiving and easier to control. It enhances torsional flexibility, allowing for smoother turns and maneuvers, which is particularly beneficial for riders who prioritize a playful and versatile riding experience rather than aggressive performance.
FOREVER FLEX
Forever Flex is a manufacturing process that helps stabilize the flex and rocker profile of a board for its lifetime. Our boards now finish the first stages of production slightly overbuilt and then we “break them in” using a specialized machinery that mimics extreme riding use. By flexing the fresh board fibers and epoxy at the factory the materials settle into their final arrangement within the board layup much the same as if you rode the board for 20 days. This process helps us narrow our production tolerances so the board you buy has a more accurate specified flex and rocker profile that will change less as you ride it more.
